Jennifer Cohen and David Griffin — a married team at Compass Arizona who have worked the Phoenix Valley for twenty years. We built this practice small on purpose. When you hire Griffin | Cohen, you get Griffin and Cohen — not an assistant fielding your questions, not a junior agent showing your listing. Every call, every walk-through, every negotiation runs through one of us directly. That's the whole point.
If it doesn't make you money or sell your house faster, don't do it.
This isn't just your biggest purchase — it's about to become a living, breathing part of your life. It takes time to find that. Don't get frustrated. Breathe. We'll find you your home.
Jen has worked the Phoenix Valley since 2004. Her practice covers the full range of the market — luxury Scottsdale and Paradise Valley estates, first-home buyers, move-up families, and the repeat clients who come back to her for every move they make.
She was recruited by Launch Real Estate for her production and joined Compass when Launch and Compass merged. When Compass built out its Arizona relocation practice, Jen was the person they turned to — she now serves as Compass's Arizona relocation lead, works directly with Compass Relocation National to grow the brand in a market that's still new to them, holds Cartus and SIRVA certifications, and partners with over twenty national relocation companies. Relocation is a specialty, not the whole story.
The approach is the same at every price point: pick up the phone, walk the houses, and tell people what she'd tell her own sister. She answers the dumb questions before they become big ones. No pressure, no script, no playing both sides.
The worst thing an agent can do is work for the commission instead of the client.
There's a reason we get called into the transactions other agents have already screwed up. Real estate isn't about following a script — it's about being flexible when everything shifts, and rigid about the things that actually protect you. Knowing the difference is the whole job.
David has worked the Valley for twenty years and has closed every kind of deal there is — classic buyers and sellers, first-home families, luxury estates, new construction. But he's the agent other agents call when a transaction needs more than a signature: senior transitions, probate sales, contested estates, complex closings.
He's a licensed broker and a Maricopa County Superior Court Special Real Estate Commissioner — the courts trust him with the files that have to go right. His Pando Path® framework is the structured advisory process he built for families navigating senior transitions: a five-phase approach that integrates with elder law, financial planning, and geriatric care, helping families decide from strength instead of stress. No other agent in Arizona has built anything like it.
David is the one who shows up calm when everything's on fire. He knows which rules to follow to the letter and which can bend, and he keeps clients and their families from making the kind of mistakes you can't undo. Flexible about what shifts. Rigid about what protects you.
Because this is a family business in every sense of the phrase. Three boys and one dog.

If you made it this far, you deserve a coffee — and we'd love to buy you one. Whatever's coming in your life, call us first. Even to ask the dumb question you don't want to ask anyone else. Even if the answer ends up being "not yet." Because we'd rather be the agents you call for every house you ever buy than just for this one.
